About the authors:

Hernán Pereira Palomo
M. Ed. teaches English, American and English literature at Universidad Arturo Prat, Iquique, Chile. His research interests are related to educational technology and audiovisual materials in EFL teaching, and he has authored several books on photography, language teaching and American culture.

Michel Riquelme Sanderson
Ph.D, teaches courses on language teaching methods, assessment, curriculum, and research methods at Universidad Arturo Prat, Iquique, Chile. His research interests are related to language teacher education, social justice in language teaching, and teacher educators. He has published and presented on language education nationally and internationally.

Romina Castillo Fuentes
is an English teacher in “Programa de Inglés Institucional” at Universidad Arturo Prat, Iquique, Chile. She has a master’s degree in EFL Methodology and Curriculum and Evaluation. She has participated in projects related to the development of new tools for educational technology in schools, and how to improve and apply them effectively in the classroom.

Juan Chamorro Arenas
is an English teacher with a master’s degree in Higher Education and studies in instructional design and curriculum management. He has taught courses related to writing in English, instructional media and technologies for learning in pre-service teacher education contexts.
